Aptly called “Twenty Year Cuvée”, this appealing wine is modern, savvy, individual and full of attitude – just like DKNY. To create this custom cuvée, Chandon winemakers incorporated library wines spanning two decades, representing DKNY’s 20 years. Both DKNY and Chandon are strong American brands that communicate a confident yet approachable style appropriate for every occasion. By using top quality materials with an artistic touch, the Chandon winemakers have created a beautifully balanced and seamless wine that exhibits grace and elegance - a fitting tribute to the iconic American designer. Tasting note Like many of DKNY’s fashion creations, this wine is richly textured and deeply colored. It offers appealing baked apple aromas with toasted hazelnut and dulce de leche notes that are carried through the palate by a soft and silky mousse. The late-disgorged portion from Chandon’s reserve library contributes to the rich texture and deep, inviting golden color with layers of complexity. Like a well made garment, the structure is solid with many facets. The fresh, vibrant flavors persist along the weighty palate, joined by baked pear, quince and brioche that lead to Chandon’s characteristic soft, dry finish.
